托臂裝置時(shí)在始末兩頭和轉(zhuǎn)彎處依照規(guī)則高度先裝置兩只托臂，再在兩托臂間拉一水平線(這兩個(gè)托臂要裝置規(guī)矩)，然后按線裝置其他托臂。終將使用線垂、水平尺將整排托臂調(diào)正，各托臂的同層橫檔應(yīng)在同一水平面上，其凹凸誤差不大于5mm,使整排托臂到達(dá)橫平豎直。

托臂定位需在前后兩條立柱上丈量出一切托臂方位，前后兩排通線，用角尺在其它立柱劃出托臂的定位線，一條立柱托臂定位均勻耗時(shí)15分鐘。由此可見橋架裝置的定位環(huán)節(jié)選用人工丈量完結(jié)，費(fèi)時(shí)吃力。其瓶頸在于：在立柱、托臂定位劃線環(huán)節(jié)耗費(fèi)了很多人力物力。
